As you may be aware, as a Medicare beneficiary, you can choose to enroll in Medicare plans other than the Medicare Advantage Plan provided through New England Conference.
Please remember that you can only have one Medicare Advantage Plan at a time (including Part D prescription drug plans).
If you enroll in another Medicare Advantage or Part D Plan, you will be automatically removed from the Conference’s United Healthcare Plan, and there will be no opportunity to re-enroll in the Conference plan.
It is important to be aware of this, particularly during the annual Medicare Open Enrollment (October 15 to December 7) when you may be receiving sales and promotional literature from other insurance plans.
If you wish to continue your United Healthcare coverage through New England Conference, no action is necessary on your part.
If you have questions, contact Thelma Phelan at (978) 682-8055 ext. 122 or benefits-asst@neumc.org
