The Conference Commission on Religion and Race (CCORR) held one of three pilot trainings for clergy on how to have “Vital Conversations” about race and racism in their congregations. The workshop was held at Wesley UMC in Concord, NH on February 2nd.
This is the story of three small churches on the Maine coast that experienced the UM connection in a way that allowed them to receive support and, in turn, to offer it.
The annual event honors the year's retirees, ordinands, and those celebrating 50 years of ordained ministry. It is the unofficial opening of the Annual Conference session.
