Please keep the family and friends of Rev. Joyce Whetstone in your prayers. Rev. Whetstone, 80, died today, June 6, 2022. 

Rev. Whetstone served several churches in Massachusetts including New Bedford and Greenwood Memorial and at East Hartford and Burnside in Connecticut before retiring in 2008. 

Services for Rev. Joyce Marie Whetstone will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church (741 State St. Springfield, MA, 01109) on Thursday, June 16, 2022 (Wake 10AM, Celebration of Life Noon, Repast to follow in the Parlor). We are handicap accessible. 
 
Parking is available at Mosque 13 (727 State St.), Wesley UMC (741 State St.), and the Mason Square Library (765 State St.). Further parking accommodation is reserved at St. John's Congregational Church (45 Hancock St.) with a short walk up Monroe St.

Clergy, please wear your stole or Class B attire to the service.
