Please keep the family of Rev. Arlene Bodge in your prayers. Arlene, a retired elder in the New England Conference, died on April 23rd  at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA after an 8 year battle with Pulmonary fibrosis. Arlene served churches in Edgartown and  Chilmark, MA from 1992-2002. 

 A  Memorial Service will be held on May 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Interfaith Chapel at Brooksby Village Retirement Center, 100 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody, MA 01960.

The second service of remembrance will be held at the Chilmark Community Church, a United Methodist Church, 9 Menemsha Gate, Chilmark, on Martha's Vineyard. 508-645-3100. This service will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 11:00 with a reception following in the church's fellowship hall. Arlene lived on this "piece of heaven", the Vineyard, for forty years.
