Rev. Marcheta Townsend, retired elder and former District Superintendent of the Green Mountain District, died last night at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. Marcheta served churches in Moretown & Hancock, Underhill & Jericho, Moretown & Middlesex, Georgia & St. Albans Bay, Burlington, East Montpelier and Isle LaMotte in Vermont. Please keep her husband, Lindsay, and family in prayer. There are no details regarding the service at this time.
