Rev. Ronald W. Ober, Retired NEC clergy, died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 97 years of age. He was holder of the Golden Cane Award honoring both his age and his years of service in the churches of New England. Rev. Ober served in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and later in the New England Conference serving churches in Danvers, Arlington, Salem, Dorchester, Somerville, Quincy and Ipswich in Massachusetts. Ron will be buried in the mountains of PA, where he is from. A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, June 2 at 11:00 AM at Wesleyan Village, Ron's home for 15 years. The address is
