There will be a celebration of Reverend Gary Akeley’s life on Saturday, August 6 at 1:00 at the Randolph UMC with a collation to follow. There will be no calling hours. Gary served many churches in Maine. He served Pembroke, Columbia Falls, Orrington, Strong, Salem, Westbrook and South Portland (Elm St.), Randolph and East Pittston. He was also the Maine Conference Youth Director and dean for many years at Camp Mechuwana. Messages of Condolence may be sent to his wife, Bonnie Akeley 18 Asbury St. Randolph ME 04346.
