Rev. Ann Whiting, Deacon in the New England Conference died this morning, Monday, March 28. Ann was the editor for Zion's Herald and the New England United Methodist Review from 1989 until 1996 and the Editor for CrossCurrents & Zion' s Herald in 1997. She then served as editor for the Michigan Christian Advocate from 1998 until 2009. Condolences can be sent to her son and daughter-in law, Will & Becca Whiting, at 3 Jack Henry Dr., Windham CT 06280. The funeral service for The Rev. Ann Whiting will be on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 AM at Wesley UMC, 55 Woodland St., Lincoln RI. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 31 from 4:00 - 7:00PM at the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Ave., Riverside RI. Please keep Will and all of Ann's family in your prayers.
