The Rev. John L. Camp, retired elder of the New England Annual Conference, died, Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. Survived by wife, Joan, and by his children, Mary Beth Howard and her husband Kent of Charlton, MA and Karen S. Camp of Mashpee, MA; and grandchildren, David, Andrew, and Jacob. Rev. Camp served churches in Willimantic, Leominster, Westboro, North Attleboro, and Maynard, MA Visitation: 5 - 7 PM on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave. at Route 151 Mashpee, MA, A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford Street, Falmouth, MA. The Rev. Dr. David Calhoun will officiate. Interment is private at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church of one's choice.
