Rev. David Ripley, a retired Elder in the New England Annual Conference passed into eternal life on Wednesday, July 14th at his summer home in Vienna, Maine. Dave served churches in the Philadelphia Conference, New England Southern, and Southern New England conferences in Uncasville, East Hartford, Wesley UMC in Pawtucket and then later in Lincoln RI, and St. Pauls in Newport, RI retiring in 1992. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday July 17th from 4-7 at the Wiles Remembrance Center in Farmington, ME. A service to celebrate Daves life will be held on Sunday, July 18th at 2 pm at the North Vienna UMC in Vienna, Maine. Plans will be made for a service in Rhode Island sometime in the fall.
