The Rev. J. Arthur Dahlstrand passed away on December 18 2009. The memorial service has been scheduled for Sat. January 9th at the Christian Life Church, 222 Plain St. Rehoboth, MA (on Rte 118). If you will be able to attend the celebration of Art's life, please contact his daughter, Andrea Leyare, at 401-245-7218 so they can have a count for the luncheon afterwards. Art was the holder of the Golden Cane Award, which recognizes the clergyperson in NEC who is the oldest with the longest number of years serving. He was one month shy of his 97th birthday. Art served churches in Brockton and Fall River, MA; Newport and Pawtucket, RI; and Enfield, CT. Please keep all of Art's family in you prayers.
