Rev. Lawrence Staples, a retired clergy member of the New England Conference, died yesterday, February 6th. Rev. Staples served many New England United Methodist churches including churches located in: Stonington, South Deer Isle, Hartland, Fairfield, and Fairfield Center in Maine; Worcester, Northampton, Everett, Salem, Lee, Lenoxdale, and Quincy in Massachusetts; Stafford Springs and East Hartford in Connecticut. A memorial service will be held at Wesley UMC, Concord, NH on Saturday, February 10th at 11 am. Condolences can be sent to Larry’s daughter, Ms Donna Rowland, 106 Black Hall Rd, Epsom, NH 03234.
