Margaret Strout, wife of Rev. Kingsley Strout, died on Saturday, November 5. Many of the retired Maine pastors will remember Kingsley and his wife. He served Maine churches beginning in 1944, retiring in 1966, and continued serving as a retired pastor until 1971. Margaret had not been well for many years. The service is to be held at the Windham Friends Meeting House on Route 202 in Windham, where Kingsley served as pastor for twenty years, on Friday, November 11, at 10am. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 10, 4-7 pm at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham ME Margaret also survived by their daughter, Kathy Strout, of Belfast ME, and their son, Kingsley Strout, Jr. of New Gloucester ME.
