The New England Conference would like to celebrate and congratulate the Biblical Leadership Institute and its first class of graduates.
The Biblical Leadership Institute formed in 2011 to empower the Latino leadership of the Conference to develop ministries of excellence supported by better theological, ministerial, and denominational understanding.

The graduation took place on June 6, 2015 at Mt. Bellingham Nueva Vida UMC in Chelsea, MA. The June graduation is the culmination of a process that began nearly four years before. There were six graduates:

The Biblical Leadership Institute has the following objectives:
Form leaders with solid bases in biblical and theological knowledge
Form leaders with basic knowledge in the arguments, organization and execution of ministries
Establish solid bases to develop ministries of excellence in every Latino/a Church of the Conference.
