Members of the Seacoast District were invited by United Methodist Foundation of New England Director Rev. Ted Crass to attend the 2023 Dr. Martin Luter King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast in Cranston, RI.
This event was hosted by the Rhode Island Ministerial Alliance. The keynote address was offered by Congressman David N. Cicilline (RI-01). Rep. Cicilline called on the scholars who received financial awards to "engage, risk, and stand for justice."
