The NH UMW held their Fall Meeting on Saturday September 30, 2017 at Wesley UMC in Concord, NH. 34 women gathered to learn, worship and share a meal.
Pastor Lena Mark, Pastor of Peterborough UMC and West Rindge UMC spoke about the Hundred Days Cold Weather Shelter and Drop in Center in Keene, NH. Rev. Jonathan Hopkins from the Concordia Lutheran Church in Concord, NH, spoke about Family Promise of Concord, NH. Family Promise is a nationwide program for homeless families (with a child under 18). NE UMW Conference President Roberta “Bobbi” Bragan greeted the group and spoke about upcoming events.
NH District Superintendent Rev. Taesung Kang and his wife Mina joined the gathering for lunch. Rev. Kang spoke about the UMW, blessed the in-gathering and said grace before lunch, giving thanks for all we take for granted.
