NEAC service for World Communion Sunday

September 28, 2020

In anticipation of World Communion Sunday, Bishop Devadhar invited the Extended Cabinet to celebrate an early communion service at their regular meeting Tuesday, Sept.29.

Laity and clergy from around the world led the service, which included some young people who have traveled with the bishop on spiritual pilgrimages (The bishop made a special effort to include members of Generation Z.) You will be able to read more about that in the bishop's Oct. 1 Together in Christ letter.
The service was recorded and available for use in any of our churches to celebrate World Communion Sunday, Oct. 4.
NOTE: The service was held via Zoom, with no rehearsal, and so the video and sound quality do have some glitches. The experience gave Cabinet members a deeper appreciation for the hard work that so many of our churches put in to provide weekly online services!
