The clergy and laity of the Mid-Maine District welcomed their new superintendent the Rev. Karen L. Munson with an outdoor installation service on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at Mill Street Park and Pavilion in Augusta.

“God gave Mid-Maine District a beautiful day by the Kennebec River in Augusta for the installation of new District Superintendent Karen L. Munson.

“Deep thanks go to our musicians from the Belfast, Friendship, Lewiston, Readfield, and Brunswick areas as well as the District clergy, every one of whom had a role in the worship service.

“We are especially grateful to the children who reminded us of our baptisms with generous sprinklings of water; to the Umberhind family who set up fun and games, to Margo Carmine, Sue Spaulding, and Green St. UMC, whose preliminary work with Lori made the day and success.”
