The Tri-State District Rural Mission Team invites people to join a mission trip April 20-30, 2017 to Hollywood, SC. The team will help repair and perhaps build new housing for persons in the South Carolina lowlands.
is an ecumenical non-profit organization that serves people in need in the Sea Island area of Charleston County. Hurricane Matthew added to the need, and did significant damage to the Rural Mission itself.
Cost is $375, and covers all transportation, motels, food, housing in a local United Methodist church, and some building materials. The team does fund raising for most of the building supplies.
There is a job for everyone, be it helping cook for the group, painting, plumbing, banging nails, as well as shopping, and most importantly, being a friend to those we meet.
You can also help by donating to provide financial aid for a missioner, buy building materials, or pay for gas.
