Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church in Cambridge, MA, and its pastor, Rev. Herb Taylor, is taking an educational tour of John Wesley's England with The Society for Biblical Studies, and you are invited to join us.
The trip will be April 17-24, 2017 with extensions in London or Edinburgh available.
The Society for Biblical Studies
(SBS) provides unique educational travel experiences. It is led by the Rev. Peter Miano, an elder in the New England Conference, who has been leading and designing educational travel experiences for over 20 years.
Rev. Taylor writes: “Harvard-Epworth travelled with SBS to the Holy Land and our experience with SBS has been outstanding.”
This journey will include visits to a variety of well-known sites in England while focusing on places associated with the early history of the movement started by John Wesley. Our journey will be distinguished by visits to places and conversations with people that will help us put John Wesley's movement in his own setting, while also making it relevant to today.
Joining Rev. Taylor and Rev. Miano in leading the trip will be SBS faculty member Rev. Dr. Duncan MacPherson, who is also an expert in world religions.
Based on a group of 32 people, the cost is $3,346 from Boston, and clergy can earn credits for enrolling others. This is an all-inclusive price that includes travel, accommodations, most meals, touring and guides.
If you would like to be a part of the trip or would like more information, contact Rev. Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org
