Interim Financial Services Manager named

The New England Conference of The United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that Patricia “Patty” Evans will serve as interim Financial Services Manager.  

She will be taking over for Steve Hart, who retires Dec. 31, 2019. 

Evans, who comes to the Conference through Robert Half International, Inc., is an

experienced controller with a background of working in a variety of industries from Brannen Brothers – Flutemakers, Inc. to Winchester Systems, Inc., which provides storage and server systems.
She is expected to be with the us for about six months.

She has a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from Merrimack College. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a notary public.  

She is a proud member of the Pease Greeters, a group of local citizens who come out day or night to greet soldiers at Pease Air Terminal in Portsmouth, NH.  
 
As a Conservation Ambassador and Master Naturalist, she volunteers at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Volunteer docents provide environmental education and interpretive programs for refuge visitors, schools and the local community.  
 
She also volunteers as a Committee member with the Seacoast Village Project, a newly formed group in Portsmouth, NH, that is helping to make “aging in place” a real option for area seniors. 
  
In her spare time, she enjoys photography, oil painting and playing flute and piano.
