Green Mountain District welcomes new administrative assistant
July 11, 2022
The New England Conference is pleased to announce that Rena Flint has joined the staff as the administrative assistant for the Green Mountain District.
Flint began her new position on July 5, 2022. She takes over for Evie Doyon, who retired in June.
Clare Chapman, co-chair NEAC Personnel Committee, said of Flint: “We found Rena to be engaging, personable, and team oriented in both her application materials and interviews; she brings extensive administrative experience in a variety of employment settings. We look forward to having her join our staff in the vital ministry of the New England Conference.”
Flint most recently worked for UVM Health Network as pre-registration clerk, then administrative assistant. Prior to that she was an administrative assistant at Central Vermont Medical Center. She also has experience working for law firms and a credit union.
She attended Northfield (VT) High School and the Community College of Vermont.
Flint is a member of Northfield UM Parish. For 15 years she’s had a ministry making small, crocheted afghans for the local hospice and for a battered women’s shelter.
Her hobbies include reading, attending a monthly book club, and crochet.
Please join us in welcoming Rena to the New England Conference.
