Judy Murphy shares this news from Covenant Hills in Cabot, VT: In mid-July, the camp was the site of an exciting adventure for hearing impaired children and their siblings. There were hikes to the yurt and games on the soccer field. The campers loved using the paddle boards and kayaks, and everyone enjoyed the beach. They spent a day at a nearby water park. There was time to look at the stars in wonder and for s’mores around the campfire. Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar will visit Covenant Hills as part of his visit to the Vermont District Aug. 2-3, 2018. Pictured is the alarm bell with the weather vane showing a westerly breeze, “When the wind is from the west, the wind is at its very best.”
