Anne Robertson leads AC 16 Bible study

The 2016 Bible study at Annual Conference was led by the Rev. Anne Robertson, executive director of the Massachusetts Bible Society.

Rev. Robertson, who is a member of the New England Conference, talked about how people in a text-based culture like ours should understand the

scriptures, which were written in a time when storytelling was the traditional way of conveying truth.

During the Friday, June 17, study Rev. Robertson focused on the distinction between truth and fact, and what that means for understanding the Scriptures, particularly in the Old Testament.
