What a blessing it is to welcome Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar to the New England Conference! All clergy, laity and guests are welcome and invited to attend the welcoming service and reception this Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Clergy:
All clergy are invited to be robed and join in the procession, and a red stole is the color of the day. Brewer Hall at the church is the gathering place for the processional prior to the service.
Parking:
We encourage ride sharing as there will be limited parking and other events in the area on that day. Available parking in the immediate area:
- Wesley UMC, 114 Main Street, Worcester (limited number of spaces).
- First Unitarian Church, 90 Main Street, Worcester.
- United Congregational Church, 6 Institute Road, Worcester. (The lot is across the street from the front of the church)
- There may also be some availability at Trinity Lutheran and Epworth UMC.
- There is a parking lot in the middle of Harvard, Highland and Lancaster streets that is metered.
After the Service:
A reception will be held directly after the service.
For those who cannot attend, the service will be available online at
www.neumc.org the week of October 1. There will not be a live webcast during the event.
