Bonnie Marden, field coordinator for the NE Conference Imagine No Malaria campaign, offers the following update on the effort:
Thank you for completing our life-network of church support for Imagine No Malaria. With approximately 66 percent of New England churches reporting contributions to date, we challenge every church to become part of this historic endeavor: Don’t miss this opportunity to be a congregation that “changes the world!”
Bishop’s invitation: If we can save just 12,000 more lives, we will have reached our goal of saving 100,000 lives. During his visits to the districts, Bishop
Sudarshana Devadhar is asking churches to help make this final push by collecting loose change during Advent and/or the Lenten and Easter seasons and to bring those donations, as one check, to the 2016 Annual Conference session for a celebration of this achievement.
Pledges: The Imagine No Malaria campaign is now accepting our pledge forms and counting them toward our goal! Churches or individuals can help us impact lives by mailing a completed pledge forms to the Conference Office until the end of the year. The gifts can be submitted during 2016. Get a pledge form.
