It is time to start thinking about the budget requests your agency will have for the year 2022. Our process includes reviews by the Connectional Table and Conference Council on Finance and Administration (CCFA) for program ministries, and the CCFA for administrative areas. Ultimately, CCFA has responsibility for presenting the budget to the Annual Conference.

It is important to note the timeline for budget requests, as well as what is expected for all requests to be given consideration.

The Connectional Table and CCFA will be reviewing all program and discretionary requests to determine whether they meet with the mission, goals, core values and key objectives of the Strategic Plan.

In order to be good stewards of our resources and to keep our Mission Shares at reasonable levels, the Connectional Table reviews your requests with alignment in mind. All areas are subject to the same review, and there are no guarantees of continued funding for long-standing programs and committees. 

Please review the Conference’s Strategic Plan (Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Critical Issues). And then use this template to complete your budget request. Deadline for submission is March 1, but earlier submissions allow us more time to refer questions back to you before decisions are made. Failure to submit will result in zero budget allocation for 2022.

We realize that during the pandemic and the uncertainty in the denomination with General Conference pending, it is difficult to project budget needs for the following year, but we encourage you to do the best you can. We anticipate making adjustments and reassessing commitments on a semi-annual basis in the coming year(s), and ask for your adaptive leadership as well during these uncertain times.
