The New England Conference Sessions Team, in consultation with Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar, has determined that the 2022 Annual Conference will be a hybrid session – offering members the opportunity to participate in person or online (via Zoom) as they choose.
 
The session will be Thursday to Saturday, June 9-11, 2022. The clergy session and laity session have not yet been scheduled. Members should note that one or both events may take place on Wednesday, June 8. 
 
Our theme for 2022 is “Envisioning the Beloved Community” and our guiding scripture is Philippians 3:12-14, The Message:
 
"I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward — to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back." 
 
Those meeting in person will gather in the Expo Center at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown at 700 Elm St., Manchester, NH. This is the same location (with a few name changes) we have used for several years prior to the pandemic.
 
COVID protocols will be in place for those attending in person; specifics about those measures will be determined closer to the event, so we can best respond to the conditions we are experiencing at that time. 
 
Those who opt to join the session remotely will use the Zoom platform hosted by our A/V team GNTV. It will be similar to the remote sessions we have held the past two years, but with improvements that we hope will facilitate true holy conferencing for all participants. 
 
The session will be live streamed. 
 
The registration fee for this year’s session is the same for online or in-person participation. The registration fee is $100; there is a $25 discount ($75) for those who register and pay in full by May 1. All members must register in order to be able to vote, whether you are attending online or in person. Watch for an announcement about the opening of registration.
 
We continue to learn from our experiences over the past two years of pandemic, but are venturing into new territory as we plan our first hybrid Annual Conference session. Flexibility is our greatest asset, and we ask for grace and prayers as we move forward together.
