The Northeastern Jurisdictional (NEJ) Conference will be held July 13-17, 2020 in Hunt Valley, MD.
The
NEJ is the only jurisdiction that has written into its rules that each Annual Conference shall have at least two youth representatives (New England is granted two) to the Jurisdictional Conference.
The youth representatives are seated with their Annual Conference's delegates during the event. Youth representatives are entitled to present matters and to have a voice on all matters before the Jurisdictional Conference consistent with the Rules of Order, but do not have a vote.
Two youth from NEAC will be selected by their peers to attend. Runners up will be named alternates. To be eligible youth must be entering grades 9-12 in fall 2020 and be members of a New England United Methodist Church.
Travel, lodging and meals for the 2020 NEJ Conference will be paid for by the New England Conference.
Deadline to apply is Dec. 31, 2019. Submit the completed application, parental permission form, and pastor recommendation/verification of membership form.
