MAY 2018

Camping and Retreat news

On the first Wednesday of each month, the UMCatalyst puts the spotlight on news and information about our Camp and Retreat Centers. Summer camp registration is open, and there are many new and exciting programs at all our sites. Take a look at what’s happening:

News from Wanakee United Methodist Center

Calling all medical professionals: For 57 years, Wanakee in Meredith, NH, has been blessed with volunteer staff for our Health Office. Are you (or do you know) an RN, APN, or MD, and interested in experiencing our incredible community while serving the next generation of church leaders? Consider joining us for a week or half week - your contributions are critically important. Camp Scholarships available. Contact james@wanakee.org or call Wanakee to explore the possibilities.
Sign up for camp: Registrations are up 35 percent compared to 2017 and many events are close to full – don't miss out! Sign the children in your life up today by visiting www.wanakee.org. Or, come to camp with your child or grandchild by attending Toddlers in Tow, You N Me, or Family Camp!
Mission Opportunity: Please consider joining us for a day of service and fellowship at our Spring Work Days: May 5 and June 2. Due to record-breaking cold and an April 16 winter storm, we missed out on three days of volunteer support earlier this month – help us catch up? RSVPs requested.
