MARCH 2018

On the first Wednesday of each month, the UMCatalyst puts the spotlight on news and information about our Camp and Retreat Centers. Summer camp registration is open, and there are many new and exciting programs at all our sites. Take a look at what’s happening:

‘Renew Your Life’ this spring at Rolling Ridge

Thomas, Mary Magdalene, and Jesus: What do these biblical characters have in common? All three are part of the Spring Christian Character Series at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center, and each offers insight on how to live a life of faith.

Some ‘groundbreaking news’ from Camp Aldersgate

Thanks to the generosity of the Champlin Foundation, we are building a second Day Camp pavilion (and an improved access road) creating more space for our day campers! Camp Aldersgate in North Scituate, RI, has experienced 20 percent year-on-year Day Camp growth since 2015, and we expect to keep growing. Adding another space for painting, science projects, and games will bring smiles to more campers this year. Summer is going to be here soon, and with it comes campers that will fill this place with laughter, happiness, and memories.
