Golden Cross Sunday is held on a Sunday in May that is convenient to each church. The offerings received for Golden Cross Sunday support three New England Methodist organizations providing housing and care to senior citizens:

MCH in Rockland, ME, helps seniors, people with disabilities and low-income individuals maintain their independence with dignity through housing, transportation, nutrition and support programs.

United Methodist Elder Care in East Providence, RI, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a continuum of care and services that are designed to support the ever-changing needs of seniors. 

Deaconess Abundant Life Communities. in Concord, MA, provides quality housing, health, and wellness services for seniors.
