SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7, 3:00 p.m.: Danielle Stillman, Hillel Rabbi to Middlebury College will deliver the Rabbi Victor E. Reichert Bible Talk at the Ripton Community Church (1357 VT Rte 125, Ripton VT).

THURSDAY OCTOBER 11, 7:00 p.m.: VT Christian Music and the United Methodist Church in Winooski present A 100 Year Celebration Christian Concert featuring Tori Harper with hit song “Joy” and local favorites Over Orange Heights and Jason O’Brian. Tickets starting at $15/ea - available online. Concert will be at the Winooski UMC, 24 W. Allen Street, Winooski VT.

Dinners, Suppers, and more... 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6, 5:00-6:30 p.m.: annual Harvest Supper at the Monkton Friends Methodist Church. Menu includes ham, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, squash and coleslaw with apple crisp and ice cream for dessert. $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 5-12. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6, seatings at Noon, 5:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.: Chicken Pie Supper at Trinity United Methodist Church (137 Main Street, Montpelier) $12 adults, $6 children 10 & under. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6: Chicken and Biscuit Dinner at the Shelburne United Methodist Church (30 Church ST). Menu includes: Chicken, gravy, and biscuit with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, squash, cranberry sauce, homemade pies (apple or pumpkin), and drink (coffee or cider). $12 adults, $6 children (5-11), free for children four and younger. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21: Turkey Supper at St. Paul's United Methodist Church (11 Church St., St. Albans). All-You-Can-Eat, served family style. Dine in only (tickets are not redeemable for take-out). Festivals, Sales, etc.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 & 30. The United Church of Underhill will host its annual Old-Fashioned Harvest Market—a full weekend of fun for all ages. The festivities kick off on Saturday, September 29 at 9AM with the Harvest Market parade. Stay for kids games, hayrides, tag sales, arts vendors, and the tastiest food around. A brief worship service open to all occurs at 9:30 on Sunday morning. We can't wait to see you there!

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 & 30: the second annual Johnny Appleseed Festival at the Springfield United Methodist Church kicks off Saturday September 29th with a fundraising dinner and continues throughout the weekend with a silent auction, bake sale, and kid’s activities.
