Basic Course October 2018

Basic Course – This course is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries.  Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that hold members accountable in their discipleship.

            (Note:  To enroll in the Basic Course, participants are required to provide a letter of recommendation from their pastor and chair of Administrative Board/Church Council.  In addition, they need to submit, in writing, their reasons for wanting to become a lay servant.)

                          Dates/Time:    Sat. October 6 & 20, 2018      9:00 am – 2:30 pm

Advance Course November 2018

DANCING WITH WORDS - Participants in the course will learn what constitutes a good story, discover storytelling styles, learn the techniques of effective storytelling and practice creating stories from their experience.
