This is a refresher course for lay servants and a first course for anyone interested in becoming a Certified Lay Servant. To get credit as a Certified Lay Servant you must have completed the Basic course.
Contact Dawn Hill-Fleury about having a Basic course offered.
The Advanced Lay Servant Class, A Mission Journey, will be offered Saturdays, July 16, 23 and 30 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Lyndonville UMC, 100 Church Street, in Lyndonville. This course will be in-person only. Dawn Hill-Fleury (firstname.lastname@example.org) will facilitate this class. Please complete and return the registration form to her (address on form). Participants should purchase the book (A Mission Journey: A Handbook for Volunteers) prior to the beginning of class.
This course will provide participants with a better understanding of a holistic approach to participation in God’s mission to the world and equip lay servants for more effective missional engagement in their communities and beyond.
Visit other Districts' Lay Servant Ministry webpages for additional offerings. Many are offered via Zoom at this time.
