In addition to the current health insurance plan, a new option, an IRS-qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), will be offered to HealthFlex participants beginning in 2019. The HDHP includes a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Having two options will allow HealthFlex participants to choose the best plan for themselves and their families.
More information will be provided over the next few months to help you understand the differences between the two plans so you can make the right choice during the annual election period (Oct. 31 to Nov. 15, 2018). Watch the e-news for details about an informational webinar in mid-September; the ALEX Benefits Counselor will also be updated so that you will be able to estimate your expected costs under each plan.
Representatives from Wespath, along with your Conference Benefits team, will be at the 2018 Annual Conference session to answer questions.
