Join the United Methodist Women for a birthday celebration of 150 years – and counting – in the city where the UMW began: Boston. Among the exhibits will be the historic stained glass windows from the Tremont St. Methodist Episcopal Church, where the UMW was founded.
Hosted by the New England Conference UMW, the Conference Commission on Archives & History and Boston University School of Theology, the day's events will include dynamic speakers (see the featured speakers below), entertaining re-enactments, worship, fellowship, and more.

Dedication of stained glass windows
You are also invited to attend the official dedication of stained glass windows which came out of the former Tremont Street Methodist Episcopal Church. BU School of Theology Professor Dana Robert
will give a lecture on the relationship between the founding of the Methodist Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society, and the chartering of Boston University 150 years ago.
