Changing pastors is part of the connectional life of The United Methodist Church. This workshop will give pastors and churches changing appointments this coming July important information to ease the stress of the transition. Pastors and transition teams from each church with changes in pastoral leadership are expected to attend this workshop.  Topics to be covered include Pastoral Transitions; Tools for the Transition; Policies, Documents, Reminders and Time Table of Leaving and Entering Tasks.
Each Church should bring a minimum of three transition team members including the pastor, SPRC Chair, Church/Administrative Council Chair, Lay Leader, Treasurer and any other interested laity.
