The Annual Meeting and Dinner Fundraiser for New England Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON) is an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal and hear some powerful stories about how people’s lives have been changed through JFON’s work, as well as information about our new goals and vision. Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar will speak, along with some other special guests!
New England JFON
is a division of a nationwide United Methodist ministry that offers legal aid to low income immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. This year's event will be hosted by the Springfield clinic housed at Trinity UMC. Partnering with Community Legal Aid, the Springfield clinic launched this local effort five years ago. During this time, the clinic has welcomed more than 400 clients who were hoping for a path to citizenship, and has been able to help many realize their dreams.
During this exciting evening, we’ll also have the chance to hear about the JFON clinic in Woburn, MA, that recently re-opened and the newest clinic in the Lawrence/Lowell area.
