South Yarmouth United Methodist church, 324 Old Main St., is seeking a Minister of Music.
This position is responsible for the development of the choir(s) and along with the pastor, organist, and worship committee, implementation of music for Sunday worship, summer worship at the beach, and other special worship and outreach events as agreed upon by the pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.  Responsibilities will include recruitment of new choir members, choosing appropriate anthems and music for our congregation’s worship life, creating a children’s choir, directing the choir(s), and generally, overseeing the music ministry of the congregation.  Basic keyboard skills are required.  This is a part-time, year-round position.  Pay commensurate with experience.
