Church Business Administrator - Worcester MA

Wesley United Methodist Church seeks to hire a part-time Church Business Administrator to provide a central, coordinated focus for the business/financial and personnel affairs of the church and for attending to the details of the everyday operations of the church. The Church Business Administrator provides leadership and oversight in the following areas: 1) Accounts Payable as Treasurer and Purchasing Agent, 2) Personnel Management, and 3) Property Use and Events Management. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years working experience; a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or non-profit management, or comparable degree. The candidate will also have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, in a compassionate environment; demonstrated leadership, organizational, and planning skills and the ability to take initiative; and strong interpersonal skills. Experience in a church setting will be advantageous. Candidate must pass a CORI/SORI background check.
