Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am deeply excited to invite you to join us for our Annual Christian Conferencing to be held from June 14-16, 2018 at the Manchester Downtown Hotel in New Hampshire.
Our theme is “Vital Conversations: Culture,” and we will be acknowledging and embracing the scriptural verses from Ephesians 4:11-13 as we prepare to “equip the saints for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12) using the various gifts all our clergy and laity have been given.
It is my earnest prayer and ardent hope that we prepare ourselves prayerfully so our holy and vital conversations
enable us to fully explore what it means to be a saint, an agent of change.
It is my desire that we - who are blessed to be here in New England among people of God from a variety of cultural, philosophical, and theological backgrounds - will arrive in Manchester having emptied ourselves, in the spirit of Jesus Christ, trusting and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead all our conversations, so we will depart Manchester having glorified our Creator God.
We are truly blessed to have the Rev. Dr. Robert Alan Hill, pastor, teacher, scholar, leading us in Bible studies and preaching and teaching. Dr. Hill has a deep passion for equipping saints for the ministry and mission of the church universal.
We also rejoice that Dr. Mark Miller and his band have agreed to be with us again.
Additionally, we welcome guests from the Samnam Annual Conference in South Korea, led by Bishop Young Hwa Kwon.
Among several key moments at this year's session will be the celebration of the saints who have entered the Church Triumphant since our last gathering and of those saints who will consecrate themselves to continued ministry in the extension of the Reign of God as disciples of Jesus Christ as elders and deacons, provisional elders and deacons, and local pastors.
Please join me in prayer and encourage others to pray for our forthcoming Christian Conference, so we may submit ourselves to the will of our Creator God, with the heart of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so we experience many Holy Spirit-filled moments during our time together.
In Christ's love,
Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar
