Welcome to the Open Table of Christ United Methodist Church located in Providence, RI. We are an inner-city church that is making a huge impact on our neighborhood and making the most of our Mission Shares as you will see in the video. With your generosity, we are able to reach out to so many, creating disciples of those who reach out AND those who receive.
We are reaching out through the monthly food truck seeking to serve the homeless, the weekly afterschool program for neighborhood children that offers help with homework, snacks, and basketball, the weekly distribution of food to hundreds of our low-income neighbors, our financial support for those who cannot pay their utility bills, and our monthly worship at a nearby nursing home – just to name a few. The support of Mission Shares through the Equitable Compensation Fund is helping us to help so many. We are thankful for this support and for your prayers!
