RS - 203 (Substitute) - AN ACTION OF FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP

Whereas, the New England Annual Conference has at various times expressed its' disagreement with the United Methodist Discipline on matters of the ordination of gay clergy and marriage of same gender couples;
Be it Resolved; That the Treasurer of the New England Annual Conference shall advise and consult with the Conference Council on Ministries and the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry before paying expenses from Conference funds for trial costs related to these two concerns.
