IHCAC is a vehicle for the religious voice to speak for the establishment of an affordable, national health care system that serves everyone in the United States. It consists of more than 70 faith-based groups working in cooperation with Interfaith IMPACT for Justice and Peace and the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA.
