  • Program description: CVM hosts volunteer work groups at two locations:  Mackenzie House -  West Berlin, VT, and at Covenant Hills Camp, Cabot, VT   This project provides a destination location for VIM and other mission groups to come to central Vermont and work on area housing for persons in need and other projects

  • Program Purpose: Provide a place away from the pressures and distractions of daily life where one can listen for and hear God's voice.
  • Program: Summer camping for all age levels is offered and year round retreat facilities for interested groups is available.
  • Statement of Operations and Inspection: Covenant Hills is jointly programmed by the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ. The camp is licensed by the State Board of Health and is regularly inspected by authorized officials.

This project offers the hand of friendship to international seafarers in the ports of Boston, Portsmouth, NH, and Portland, ME. Through Shore Chaplains, seafarers are offered shore access to acquire provision for their journeys and other pastoral care and services.
