Central Vermont Mission

Central Vermont Mission is a mission initiative with the purpose of helping folks in need in the eastern part of central Vermont who are struggling to maintain their dwellings. This is hands-on mission work involving actual repair work on existing buildings. Those who are helped are folks who are not able to perform this work themselves and who are not able to pay for the repairs or qualify for home loans.

The damage left by Tropical Storm Irene has created an even larger number of folks in need. The Central Vermont Mission is coordinating volunteer teams that would like to help with these recovery efforts.

Volunteer groups can be scheduled at the Covenant Hills Station and at the Mackenzie House Station. Local churches may also host groups.

Purpose: The Central Vermont Mission is dedicated to serving the needs of the residents of eastern central Vermont as they struggle to maintain their dwellings.
