Global Ministries and International Connections

The General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) is the global mission agency of The United Methodist Church, its annual conferences, missionary conferences, and local congregations. The work of mission in virtually any context involves relationships-- interactions in the name of Jesus Christ between and among persons and organizations.

United Methodist global ministries is not about mere programs, and projects, and training sessions - whether those are in relief, or church construction, or community-health programs, or personnel assignments. Quite ordinary men and women are transformed into a holy community - a  church that is a sign of God's presence as we pursue God's mission.
