Camp and Retreat Strategic Planning Team issues report, resolutions
June 02, 2015
Over the past six months, the Camp and Retreat Ministry Strategic Planning Team has been meeting to develop recommendations for the future of the New England Conference Camping and Retreat Ministries (CRM).
The team has now issued its report (read the full report) and has included a PowerPoint presentation to accompany that report. Click the image at left to see the presentation.
The Camp and Retreat Ministry Strategic Planning Team is also proposing two resolutions that will be brought to the 2015 Annual Conference session.
The Team is proposing that each camp or retreat center that has outstanding deficits carried over from years prior to 2015 will receive forgiveness of 20 percent of its deficit at the end of each fiscal year ending in a positive balance, up to five years during the period that ends Dec. 31, 2025. The Team has put together an FAQ on its work and proposals, read that here.
