Friday Open MICs and Coffee Houses 

FIRST FRIDAY COFFEE HOUSE: Montpelier, Trinity UMC

First Friday of the month: Coffee House and music at Trinity United Methodist Church, (137 Main Street, Montpelier), 7PM ‘til – 9 or later. Bring a friend! Join us for a couple of hours of fellowship, singing and praise. 

Friday, December 2, will feature Messenger!

We provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks and people bring as they can something to share, as simple as cookies or chips to chili pizza, chicken wings or – just join us. ALL are welcome!

FIRST FRIDAY OPEN MIC: Chittenden Church of the Wildwood

First Friday of the month, October - April, 7:00 PM: Wildwood Open Mic, at Church of the Wildwood, 347 Holden Rd, Chittenden VT. Musicians, poets and storytellers of all ages invited to perform.Desserts & non alcoholic beverages available. Come to entertain and/or listen and sing along.  Portion of free-will donation goes to local charities. Dinners, Suppers, and more... 

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, starting at 4:30PM: Community Lasagna Dinner at the Shelburne UMC (30 Church Street). The event will coincide with the Shelburne’s Annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Caroling on the Village Green. The dinner will feature lasagna (with or without meat), tossed salad, bread and an assortment of cookies. Serving will begin at 4:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm or when the food runs out. The cost is $10 for adults, $5.00 for children with a maximum of $30 per family.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 11:00 - 6:00: 2nd Annual Chowder Fest & Silent Auction at the White River Jct. UMC (106 Gates Street). Choice of corn or clam chowder, warm bread, hot chocolate, & homemade sugar cookies.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17, 5:30PM: Soup A Thon at the Worcester United Methodist Church Annex (35 Worcester Village Road). Many delicious varieties of soups to try – all you can eat. $10 adults and $5 children 10 and under. Dessert and drinks included. This is to benefit Worcester’s Meals on Wheels. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 9:00 – 4:00: 4th Annual Craft Show, Bake Sale and Luncheon at St Paul’s UMC (11 Church Street, St Albans). Lunch will be served from 11 to 3:30.
